Finally, it did arrive and it was everything I told you it would be. The music and the lights at the club were fierce. It was impossible not to be carried to the dance floor and keep going all night. I did three photo shoots while I was there, all very different but all very significant for my future. Here are some pictures from my first session with Thomas Synnamon. Most of my photo shoots tend to be like me, a little bit outrageous and daring, full of hard dick shots or the camera close to my ass.

For the shoot with Thomas Synnamon, we went for another side of me, a softer side. You could frame pretty much any of these pictures and give it to your sweet grandmother on her birthday.

He sees the shoot in his head and its up to the model translate that, into amazing picture. I think you can see from the pictures that I felt very comfortable with his visions. It’s been an awfully long time since I had the chance to catch up with one of my favorites, the super gorgeous JAY ROBERTS, so I was thrilled when he agreed to a lunchtime chat about the return of his wildly popular party PLAY>TIME on 10 May 2013 in London.

Bas: Anyone who knows London nightlife knows that Friday nights belonged to PLAY>TIME for over a year. How long after Lo-Profile closed did you start planning the return of PLAY>TIME?

Jay: Well, to be honest, I never stopped planning PLAY>TIME. I’ve had ideas, plans, visions, but they kept constantly changing. The clubbing business is so unstable, but I love being a part of it. ?It is my passion and hobby. So yes, to answer your questions, since Lo-Profile closed, we have been in progress. All of the ideas and visions are now part of one big night.

Bas: It looks like an enormous party. Club Colloseum is gigantic, you have Francois Sagat performing. But why just one night? How can we get you to do more?

Jay: The club is huge. It is the biggest crowd we have ever had. It is bit scary, but the challenge is exciting.? Once we chose the venue, I knew I had to fill it and I work best with challenges.? PLAY>TIME has a following with people who like to party, who like the DJs, who like the porn stars and their performances. I want people to have fun. I am doing this also to say THANK YOU for that amazing time we had in Lo-Profile and it’s also a chance to give that year a proper goodbye, as we hadn’t had the chance to do it properly.

Are there going to be more shows of PLAY>TIME? I don’t know. I don’t want to say yes at this point. Let’s see what the future holds for us. Be positive, have positive thoughts and do positive things, and positive opportunities come to you. 

Bas: Francois Sagat. They don’t get more famous than Francois. How did you manage to get him for PLAY>TIME when no one else can get him to perform?

Jay: It’s special Jay Roberts magic! Actually, Francois has been on my mind as a PLAY>TIME star for a very long time. We met at a photoshoot here in London about 1.5 years ago and become pals. He is great guy and big character? I called to invite him and he said he would love to perform at PLAY>TIME. A handshake sealed the deal and he is going to be on my stage? Don’t you think it is a nice sexy cherry on top of a big big cake for my PLAY>TIME followers?

Bas: Jay, I’ll eat anything you bake.? But why aren’t you going to be up there with Francois?? Your followers can have two cherries that way?

Jay (laughing): Why does everyone want me to be on the stage?

Bas: I will turn off the recorder to answer that question?

Jay: Are you flirting? I have done my share of them, but I think I am finished with live performing. ?I decided to stop in London after Hustlaball 2011 when I saw my friends going to another room while I was on. They said it was too much to see me naked on the stage doing “things”. Besides, I will be busy as the bitching boss that night making sure every detail is perfect, so I cannot perform at my own venue! And I do not want to steal Francois’ spotlight. 

Bas: Tell me about the go-go dancers. You made them stars!

Jay: I have the sexiest of them all. Some of them were famous before PLAY>TIME, some became big because of PLAY>TIME. I like them all, such great guys. For this night, I have chosen them very carefully. I want to tease my clubbers. Make them feel the dancers’ hotness, sex and beauty. Bas: On the ad for PLAY>TIME, it says 700 or 800 people can fit. Are you excited to see that many people in a club just loving the whole night?

It is huge club, but even less people with amazing energy will make this night a success. I am not creating this night for money. I’m making it for the fun.

Bas: There are other parties in London that have porn stars, but PLAY>TIME always seemed a bit more special. What is the secret to PLAY>TIME’s success?

Jay: There are many. We brought the concept to London. It is an easy concept to replicate and once PLAY>TIME closed for a little break, there was an opportunity for others to step into the light and follow the path to success. If they did, I don’t know, you must check for yourself. There is only one original. PLAY>TIME is my baby. To me, I think only of fun, sexuality, sexiness, good music, porn stars. The production and the venue are so important. I have never wanted anything to feel cheap and dirty. Yes I want a feeling of sex on the stage, but with limits. I think that is hotter. Other parties are full on, but I don’t feel hardcore live sex is necessary because it can look trashy and dirty. Even the PLAY>TIME artwork is more about “sexy” than “sex”. Don’t you think that the artwork translates into a sex with style? 

Bas: Many times I wanted to pinch a poster because it was so sexy. Back to you: you know you can throw a party any time you want in London and it will be a success. What about other cities? Any others you want to conquer that are ready for PLAY>TIME?

Jay: Well let’s see. As I said, this one is one-off, a “thank you” party. You never know what the future will bring since the clubbing scene is always changing. You can’t do same thing over and over again. You need to re-invent always.

My new logo of course! I think it fits me very well.

I looked at many new logo designs. Some were very pretty and had lots of detail, some had pictures, some were done in weird shapes, but I didn’t like them because you know I like my shapes strong and straight, maybe just a little curve here and there.

I wanted a logo that was very JAY ROBERTS: BOLD, SIGNIFICANT, BRIGHT, EASY TO REMEMBER! And impossible to forget.

As well as being a performer, I also feel I have grown into a smarter very capable businessman with a solid reputation and I wanted the style to reflect that too. My logos before were like teenagers—sassy and colorful all over, but I matured and so has my logo.

I told you already that on my most recent trip, I shot a scene for men.com with Jessy Ares. Now I can tell you that I also shot a scene for my mystery project with Maikel Cash.
